Home sweet home. No matter where i go. .
This is a combination of color slide films, from Kodachrome, Ektachrome to Fujichrome. It had been kept in the lab for some months. Quite a hastle to commute to KL, just to get the processed and scanning done.
I must thank you one person, for making this happen. : )
My dear friends over there, this is how back home is in Malaysia.

01 - The other day, I went to Cambridge's Borders and walked out with 4 photography magazines, and 2 were b&w. My, was i happy!  I cant find it anywhere in Malaysia or maybe i wasnt looking hard enough. My two fav was even imported from US!  Anyway i saw an entry of Craig Williamson from one of the magazines, very similar to my work. The difference is only the icy snow part, which he didnt have. But he used a Mamiya RZ67 though! How i wished i have one!  I took this shot from outside my window's apartment, such a lazy bum i am!
02 - This is Solarization. My prof. mentioned it to us after one of our critique's assigments and i instantly asked her to show how it works after class. So me and her did some testing in the darkroom and i had to experiment it a few times to get the desired result. This one, was my second attempt that i handed in for my final project, along with the 'story line images'. I spent like 6 hours and only one piece of this took me like 3 hours! This is the closest enough i could came out with, the rest was just too dark to look at. This shot was inspired by Anis, asking me to shoot outside while the flower's still blooming. So outdoor i went! An hour after, Anis bumped into me just outside our apartment compound shooting white flowers. He.. I never like shooting flowers actually. The originality and naturality is pleasing to the eyes but not as to be frame. For something rare, i wanted to show its beauty in forms of black and white.

Full Frame Assignment

I thought this was full frame enough until my professor asked me to resubmit. Oh, well. To you in the photo, thank you for those early morning ride to work. You know how some mornings could be so chilly. Im starting to miss that already.
This is Chrome, a very good friend. And that coffee table, is where we started planning our family travel trip together. Hope things go well for you in DC.

You stopped the car, so this was the picture. And there was an angry dog barking, so i had to run back. There wasnt much happening in Annapolis that evening, was it?
